Sales Support

The sales support position is an entry level opportunity for a confident, self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.  The position will provide a broad array of support to all levels of the marketing department.  The ideal candidate will have event planning, sales and marketing experience.

This position will coordinate new prospect proposals, request proposal responses and maintain current proposals for the sales team.  In addition, this support position will create and maintain sales and marketing materials, generate client reports and be responsible for distributing compliance updates.  

The position will prepare employees for meetings and contribute to event planning and preparation, to include attendance.  Cross-training as a screening facilitator will be a secondary responsibility.  Finally, the sales support position will manage the office supply inventory for the sales department.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, health administration or a related field.  Experience in promotions and marketing is highly desirable.  The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a firm working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

 

Check Run Specialist

The check run specialist opening is an entry level position.  This full time position in the accounting department reports directly to the accounting manager.  The check run specialist will act as a liaison with clients with regard to issuing of checks in the administration of healthcare plans.

The range of duties include: printing checks, adding check detail and register to our resource library, generating reports for clients, communicating check run totals to clients, releasing checks once they have been funded by clients, initiating special check runs upon request, pulling and voiding checks, distributing checks by mail, release from ABF and overnight delivery, maintaining all weekly spreadsheets, and managing totals/deposits spreadsheet for reconciliation.

The check run specialist will also assist with billing within our wellness division, eventually taking full responsibility for this task.

General knowledge of accounting is required for this position.  A responsible, confident self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and punctuality is the ideal candidate for this position. 

 

Customer Service Representatives

We are currently looking for customer service representatives who will provide exceptional service, to include effectively responding to customer calls and inquiries regarding company-sponsored benefit programs. The ideal candidate should be able to determine a caller’s concerns and be prepared to educate callers regarding their employer-sponsored benefit coverage. Customer service representatives are expected to provide the highest level of quality service.  Our goal is to exceed client expectations.

Customer service representatives are responsible for identifying and coordinating caller issue resolution, as well as quoting accurate plan benefits and claim information to inbound callers. While treating all callers with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, representatives are expected to resolve basic issues, thoroughly document call details, and refer any escalated or unresolved call inquiries for proper review and resolution.

All candidates should possess a two or four year degree from an accredited university or technical program.  Further requirements for this position include basic phone etiquette, strong verbal communication skills, experience using a computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 

Familiarity with medical terms, excellent problem-solving skills, and bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are also highly desirable.

 

Flexible Benefits Administrator

We are looking for a full time Flexible Benefits Administrator. The hours are from 8:00 am-5:00 pm The primary responsibilities are to accurately enter medical and dependent care claims into either a web based or software based flexible spending program, however the job will require other responsibilities such as logging and processing of disability member claims, processing fees, running reports, routing claims and other projects as they come up. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills.  Candidate must be available to take phone calls and emails from human resource representatives, customer service team members and clients. The qualifications should include good computer skills, quick learner, reliable and able to multi-task.  In addition, this candidate must be a team player and work with little supervision.

    

On-Site Health Coach        

Statesville 28677

Primary PhysicianCare is looking for a full time Health Coach to travel to the following locations.  Goldsboro 27530, Greensboro 27403, and Statesville 28677

This person will be responsible for mostly in person onsite health coaching with occasional telephonic outreach to spouses. 

Health coaches will implement pre-designed health and wellness programs.  Successful implementation will require developing a rapport with participants, including following-up with multiple coaching sessions and/or telephonic interviews. They will document health coaching activities in the Healthgram software. Coaches will manage a caseload of participants by properly documenting patient condition, including disease process, acknowledgement of teaching and follow-up care.

Health coaches will encourage participants to take an active role in their health. They should be comfortable using health behavior change models such as stages of change and motivational interviewing to coach members on health education. Health coaches must be creative and knowledgeable in order to produce and facilitate health challenges, lifestyle-oriented programs and “Lunch and Learn” presentations as needed.

The successful candidate will provide on-site health coaching services to wellness program participants. Knowledge of diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and asthma, and the lifestyle issues related to these conditions, is required. Common participant concerns include weight loss, blood pressure management, cholesterol management, increasing physical activity, managing stress and smoking cessation.

A four year degree in a health-related field is required and a secondary degree in a health-related field is preferred. A degree/background in one or more the following is preferred: registered dietician, exercise science, nursing or medical/clinical field, health behavior counselor and health promotion/public health. At least two years experience with direct client/member/patient care in an individual counseling capacity and experience in a clinical setting addressing diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and asthma is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

  

FNP/ANPs

We are looking to fill Part-time positions at the following locations:

Point of Rocks, MD 21777: 16 hours per week
Conover, NC 28613: 4 hours a week

We are currently seeking forward thinking FNP/ANPs to fill immediate needs at our on-site clinic locations. Our goal is to provide our clients’ employees with the tools and support necessary to make more informed decisions regarding their health.   The ultimate goal is to reduce healthcare costs and improve the overall health of their employees.

The clinic’s primary focuses are disease management and wellness services. NPs can expect up to 30% acute and episodic care.  Medical oversight will be provided by a local supervising physician. All member encounters will be documented in Healthgram CMS, our proprietary care management system, in order to manage patient care more efficiently.  CMS also provides the clinician with access to integrated medical claims, Rx data, labs/screenings and self-reported personal health information. Population analysis reporting will be provided quarterly to assist in identifying high risk members who need to utilize the clinic.

Requirements for this position include:  a MSN, Masters of Science in Nursing, degree from an accredited NP program as either ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner) or FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), active licensure or eligibility for licensure, national certification from either the AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) or ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center- which is the certifying branch of the ANA [American Nurses Association]). Phlebotomy skills are strongly preferred. Candidates must be accustomed to working autonomously and have a background in primary care, family medicine or internal medicine. Backgrounds in chronic disease management, wellness, motivational interviewing and behavioral consulting are highly desirable. Familiarity with Windows-based applications and electronic medical records is preferred, but not required.

 

Part-time Supervising Physician

We are currently seeking a part-time supervising  physician, specializing in adult, family, internal or occupational health medicine, to provide direct supervision to an NP. This oversight will include reviewing charts in an on-site health and wellness, disease management clinic. Our goal is to provide our clients’ employees with the tools and support they need to make more informed decisions regarding their health. 

The supervising physician can expect flexible working conditions, including the ability to work on-site, from the office or from home for approximately one to six hours per month. Healthgram CMS, our proprietary care management system, is an efficient tool for the selected clinician.  CMS provides access to integrated medical claims, Rx data, labs/screenings and self-reported personal health information.

The ideal candidate will have a background in primary care, family medicine or internal medicine. Having a background in wellness, behavioral consulting and a familiarity with Windows-based applications and electronic medical records is highly desirable.
